Hi Melanie Giuliani - great to hear about your initiatives with the advanced gamification module! The first thing you'll want to do is open up a ticket with Jive support to enable the advanced analytics. This will allow you to run custom reports and export the data as needed. Here's some more info on this thread: Parsing Algorithms for Bunchball Reports
And you are correct, the maximum available challenges is a global setting that restricts the mission to the first 6 people who achieve it.
Hi Matt Foster,
Thank you so much for your response! This is great news!
Quick follow-up question - my team has already enabled advanced analytics - do you know which report I'd have to pull from the Nitro console in order to utilize the Parsing Algorithms to see who has earned a specific badge? It's all very confusing to me and it seems to take ages for reports to download so hard to just experiment. Any additional info you have would be extremely helpful.
Sorry to step in here but I would recommend the All Challenges Completed report. You can see how I tackled a similar ask in this thread: How to get Top Ten users by points for a selected time period?
Basically this report from Bunchball will provide the userID but you will likely need to combine this data with other sources to get a friendly name. You will also have to convert the timestamp data, Ted provided a nifty link in this thread: Re: Timestamps on gamification activity?
Hope that helps.
This is extremely helpful! Thank you!
Thank you both for your responses!
Were you able to get this report working? We're trying to do something similar -- identify all people who have completed a specific mission -- and this thread is the best lead I've found so far. Just can't figure out all that the steps that need to be taken.
Jive posted this shortly after this discussion: How to Report on Mission Completion in Bunchball
Hopefully it helps, I haven't worked with the Nitro data in a while so I have no idea if anything has changed.
