Unfortunately this is a Product feedback related question, and unfortunately there are no developer tools available for us to help resolve this request.
Let me move this thread to the Jive for Microsoft space, and reference Mor Avital to see if she has some feedback. In general, Report Issue should launch the native Email application (at least that is how most apps work), is it possible that Notes isn't configured as your default email client?

Please note the original Jive error that caused the error dialog box to appear is not the issue.
So, step 1, upload a doc, and get this:
Step 2, follow the instructions, and use Help>Report Issue to tell Jive all about it:
Step 3, Jive does whatever it does to prepare and transmit its log file:
Step 4, it then tries to e-mail it using Outlook, and I am prompted as such:
And, Outlook is not the default for any mail actions except opening a .msg file...Notes is the program default for mailto: and MAPI send mail:
