    Support for Relative URLs in Jive

    alistair

      I was wondering if there would be support for Relative URLs in Jive?

      There are an increasing number of services that produce Relative URLs for users to make part of their code.  YouTube is an excellent example.  When you want to embed a YouTube video, the code they give you looks something like this:

      //www.youtube.com/v/123456

      This is by no means limited to YouTube and we have run into this a few times in our instance already.

      The double slash at the beginning of the URL has no protocol and is part of the Relative URL specification from about 18 years ago:

      http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1808.txt

      Is there a likelihood that Jive will support Relative URLs soon?
