    Can I use the Jive SDK to @mention members of a Jive community?

      I can pull external data into purposeful places activity streams using the node.js-based SDK, but what about @mentioning people or communities? This would push the information into the Inbox, alerting users more easily. Are there any source code examples or any how to documentation on this?

      Thanks.

          When it comes to @mentioning, there is not an API that I am aware of; however, when you put a similar link in the body of your activity stream, it should get parsed and interpreted as an @mention.

          See this example that was used for sharing photos in the JiveWorld14 Mobile App status updates.

          '{

            "content":

                {

                "type": "text/html",

                "text": "<body><p><a href=\"/people/username\" data-username=\"username\" data-userid=\"userid\" class=\"jive-username-link jiveTT-hover-user\">fullname</a> shared a photo: <em>photo description</em></body>"

                },

            "type": "update",

          Hope this helps =)
