For various reasons it would be very handy for the community manager to be able to add people to certain well-established Groups (like Jive External Communities, not a permissions group). Members of my external community won't participate in training, and are generally reluctant to click "join" unless they want to make a post or comment. Thus, many of them aren't alerted to new activity in groups they're interested in.
I wasn't able to do this in Jive 6, but is it possible to add someone to a group in Jive 7? It would be very nice to add them and let them opt-out lair if they wish.

I'm not sure of the status of the Admin Essentials Plugin (or similar functionality) being made a part of the core product or possible for install for cloud implementations. We installed this for our on-premise solution for Jive 6 - and it was wonderful!
