There should not be a problem as long the virtualization platform can run our supported LINUX OS's then Jive will support the Jive application running in their environment. However, we do not have tested Hyper-V officially so we won't be able to assist with specific sizing or tuning at hypervisor level.
I hope that answers your question
Hi Gregor Honer
Thx for sharing. This what it should meet: "preferably"on"the"MS"Server"2012"Hyper?V"platform."
They have workstations Win7 and Linux machines... But I need to be sure of couse and will Jive support it, since it's not on the list of supported platforms.
I have to disappoint you, as mentioned above we have not tested Hyper-V so that we do not know in what kind of issues related to Hyper-V you could run into. The easy answer is Hyper-V is not supported and my personal opinion / suggestion with any software product if you need to be sure that things are working never go with something what is not officially supported.
