The Cross domain problem when Tile Action send ajax request to add-on backend

    yingjieg

I built a Jive Add-on service with Tile and Tile Action. Whenever I make ajax calls from the Tile action, they are sent through Jive instance instead of the add-on's front pages. Jive and add-on are not under same domain. I tried enable the CORS funtion in add-on service, but there are lots of limitations with IE browser(both Chrome and Firefox are fine).

      For example:

      My Jive host:

      http://jive.xxx.com:8080

      My Add-on service

      http://addon.xxx.com:8090

I installed list tile with action, after click the link Jive will load the action html page from my addon service. In action page, it will use jquery ajax to send request to addon service backend and use the response data fill the blank text area.

Is there a way to avoid the cross domain ?
