    App Blocked Frame Error

      We are in the process of uploading to cloud, but are currently unable to use an app we've been developing.  This app has worked perfectly on another cloud instance.

      We are using a canvas app to build a custom interface based on the current user.  However, when I installed the add-on to the new instance, I get the following error:

      Uncaught SecurityError: Blocked a frame with origin "https://app-instance.jiveon.com" from accessing a frame with origin "https://instance.jiveon.com". Protocols, domains, and ports must match.

      The code causing the error is:

      currentUser: {

             jive_id: window.parent._jive_current_user.ID,

             employee_id: window.parent._jive_current_user.username,

             name: window.parent._jive_current_user.displayName

      }

      It's not letting me access the Jive parent window from the app's iframe.  Any ideas what could cause this or how to get around it?  I never ran into this issue on the cloud demo instance or my local development instance.  Maybe I'm just missing something obvious?
