    Jive themes option

    div_gcet

      Hi Everyone,

I was trying to upload a custom theme on my local Jive8 instance which caused server crash. Not able to access admin screen.  Is there any quick way to point to my old theme (probably from DB) instead of following Jive set up process?

It would be helpful for theme development.

      Regards,
      Divya Garg

          Hi Divya Garg,

I am not sure whether old theme can be restored. But if you delete the theme in the server's Jive home folder, you can access the site back including admin page.

Sample theme path in the linux server : /usr/local/jive/applications/sbs/home/themes/your theme name

          Best Regards,

          Karthik

              Thank for the reply karthikeyan.

Another option I found in table jivethememap. If we truncate this table, jive will be restored to OOB theme.

As per me all theme entries would be adding to this table and making one of them global would apply that theme. Unfortunately I do not have more than one custom theme so can not test this scenario.

              Regards,
