    Updating Status


      The only reference I can find in the user documentation on how a user updates their status refers to the News feature.  If we do not have News enabled, how can we update our status?  I used to follow the "Update your status" link in the Community Updates email that comes from Jive but now when I follow that link it just takes me to the community home page.

          Hi Scott,


          Depending on the permissions set for your user (admin console >> permissions >> homepage permissions) you should see the option present in the create menu, such as seen here in the Jive Community:

          However, if these are set correctly for your user,

          and you are still missing the option, I would recommend opening up a case in your customer group here in the Jive Community where the next available support engineer can assist in further investigations into your specific instance.
