Hi Armugam Indrani -
Are you getting an error when you try to go to /api/core/v3/deletedObjects/contents or are you simply getting blank results?
You should get the following type of data for each deleted piece of content:
Unfortunately it does not look like the deletedObjects/contents api endpoint will let you get information about the place that the content was from. The deletedObjects api endpoint is a newer feature, and there is very limited information that is returned.
You can read the complete docs on the api endpoint here: Jive REST API v3.12 → DeletedObject service
Hi David Bastedo,
Thank You for your Reply.
No, not getting an error when i try to go to /api/core/v3/deletedObjects/contents. The same data i got as in your post.
But this is not my required content, because it's only having the deleted object new id, it's type, eventDate & objectType. Instead i need the details of from where it was deleted i.e parentId,parentType, parentName, objectName, objectId(previous),containerName, containerType, containerId,useraName, userId.
Please help me in the above era.

Armugam - Unfortunately that type of information is not available once the piece of content is deleted. It may be worth heading over to the Ideas for Jive space and submitting a new feature request to enhance that specific API call - Posting your specific use case is a best practice so that our product managers are aware of exactly what your needs are.
If you are trying to capture information about user activity, Jive does have two modules, Records Retention and E-Discovery: Records Retention will export all user communication in real-time to your email server or Vantage storage system. E-Discovery enables search and export of user communication within Jive in XML files. These may not be exactly what you're looking for, but they do come up when there are discussions around trying to determine more information about deleted content.
Thank you for the reply
can u please provide me the url for SFTP access...
Hi Armugam Indrani - The address and credentials for SFTP access for Records Retention would be delivered to you at the time that the module is set up and configured for you. This would also be shared with you in your secret support group, and not this public discussion space, as it is confidential information.
It doesn't look like you're a member of any company's secret support group, so you may need to reach out to your community manager to gain access to this place first. MyJive Secret Support Group Administration FAQ
