I'm sorry to hear about the search difficulties your users have reported. For the example of "Roadmap SmarterPath", does entire the entire phrase encapsulated in quotation marks work? Or how about the full word "smarterpath"? I believe the issue with the search for "smart" may be that there are too many results with similar terms.
I'm unclear which version of Jive you're on, but judging from the icon style, I suspect you're on Jive Cloud. If this is correct, please refer to the following documentation on tips for searching in Jive:
In addition, adding more keywords to the search and/or adding more tags to the content may help with search. If you suspect the content is not being indexed properly, you might also try to manually update the item in the search index, or perform a full search index rebuild as outlined in the documentation here:

A full search index rebuild is server resource intensive may take hours or days, depending on your environment size, so this is recommended to be initiated after hours. If the issue persists, you'll want to submit a support case in your Jive Customer Group for more targeted troubleshooting.
