    Active Directory user import limitations

      We are running into an issue with our user imports from Active Directory. The users that are imported are filtered in because they are a member of an AD group but doing a manual import will only bring in a handful of a people at a time, though often none, even though there are several hundred more in the group. It seems that if we wait a bit, say an hour, a handful of people will come in at that point. The number of users imported in Jive is ~1500 people while the AD group has ~1850.

       

      The user filter is as follows:

      (&(memberOf=cn=jive_users,ou=Groups,dc=ourdomain,dc=com))

       

      At first glance the AD settings of maxpagesize and maxvalrange may be relevant to the issue. Can you confirm whether Jive supports paging to bring in more people?
