How do I find my Supportal group? I tried clicking on My Jive Group under Get Help and it takes me back to the Customer Support page where I initially asked this question.
John Decker can you help pls.
Nicki you need to find who owns the support relationship with Jive in your org. They will have the ability to raise support cases and they may be able to give you access to the group.
Hi Nicki and John,
Thanks for bringing me in on this and I'll be happy to assist you. As John has pointed out, this is fairly technical in nature and would be best investigated as a confidential support case in your Jive Community customer group. This requires an invitation to the group and approval from the group owner, so it doesn't appear that you're already a member of a customer group. If you're not familiar with the support case submission process, you'll want to reach out to your community manager (I'm unclear how your company handles this internally). However, I believe Anand Sridhar, Rahul Jain, Anubhav Anant, or Pradeep Kumar may be able to confirm your internal case submission process for sure.
In any case, please submit your report along with Jive for Office logs captured during the merging process using this process:
If possible, please also include a sample copy of the file you're trying to merge, along with the following details:
- version of:
- Microsoft Office
- bitness of Windows and Office individually (32 or 64 bit?)
- precise steps to reproduce the issue
- Is the issue specific to certain documents, or can you reproduce the issue with all documents, even new documents?
- Is the issue user specific? For example, does it only happen with certain users, or can all users reproduce the issue?
Since this discussion is publicly accessible, it's recommended to resume discussion of more confidential details via the support case. Feel free to @mention me once the case is submitted and I'll pick it up if a team member hasn't gotten to it first.
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this.
Brilliant Jeph - sorry for the dump.
