      Is there a way to view a list of all tags?

      I'd like to make sure we aren't creating similar tags/are being consistent in how we're setting things up. (Additionally, are tags something every community member can apply, or are they something that can be controlled by administrators?)

      Thanks!

          Hi Stacey,

          Unfortunately, there's no comprehensive way to report all the tags in a Jive environment.  While you may use a combination of navigating to /tags or using REST API (using the the tag service -- Jive REST API v3.12 → Tag service), this doesn't provide a full list.  The only way to gather a full list is to query the application database directly using perhaps a query such as this:

               select tagname from jivetag order by tagname;

          And the results will look something like this:

          tagname

          This method is not supported and only available to on-premise or hosted customers (for hosted customers, you'll need to submit a support case to Jive Hosting Ops team for assistance setting up a database dump).  For Jive Cloud customers, this is unavailable.

          Let me know if you have any other questions on this.
