Reviewing through your description, it's possible the Jive for Office add-in was removed from your machine. For clarification, if you navigate to the add-ins section of your office application (View, manage, and install add-ins in Office programs - Office Support ) do you see the Jive for Office add-on present?
If so, and your machine is managed by your company's IT team, I would suggest reaching out to them as the might have made a recent policy change which coupld be impacting the add-in.
If you are still seeing the Jive for Office add-in present I would suggest submitting a case in your secret customer group here in the Jive Community so that the next available support engineer can assist with further investigations. When you file the case, if you could include the Office logs from your machine (How to Find the Jive for Office and Outlook Logs ) this should assist in their investigation.
