I have added the lines to the /usr/local/jive/services/eae-service/bin/instance file (Even though said file didn't exist) I have created the file, and added the following lines.
Still getting the jtds driver not found message when attempting to configure the activity engine's database setting.
I have found the answer, and I didn't see it in any of the documentation.
I had to add the JTDS driver to the following location.
the JDBC directory was not present, I found it by looking at the process (ps awux | grep jive) and see that it was calling that directory. Since it didn't exist, I created it and dumped the driver there. Restarted eae and got it up and running.
Hi Ryan Behrens,
While looking at the issue, it looks like after placing the driver in right location fixed your issue.
I am facing an issue with jtds-1.3.1.jar driver for our hosted Jive 8 application, the application is not able to connect to its MSSQL database when SSL is enabled on the database.
if you are having the same kind of configuration , then It will be very helpful if you can guide us to resolve this issue.
