    Is it possible to access App Service from Jive-Hosted Tile page?

    justinye

      In the Jive App page, we can access the App Service by defining the service alias in app.xml.  Can we define the App service alias in Jive-Hosted Tile page? If yes, How? Thanks.

      Here is the typical example from Jive App javascript page, and I want to have similar code in the Tile page.

      osapi.jive.connects.post({

      'alias': 'app_service_alias',

      'href': '/test/method1',

      'headers': { 'Content-Type': 'application/json', 'content-encoding': 'utf-8' },

      'body': { 'param1': 'testvalue' }

      function (response) {}

          I think we cannot access app service inside tile.

          But you can use "osapi.http.post"

          osapi.http.post({
                      authz: "signed",
                      'refreshInterval': 0,
                      format: 'json',
                      href: EXACT URL (e.g. 'https://community.jivesoftware.com/api/core/v3/contents' ),
                      body: { 'param1': 'testvalue'},
                      'headers': {
                          'Content-Type': ['application/json']
                      }
                  }).execute(function(response) {});
