    How to undo "Mark as assumed answered" Using Jive 7

      Good day everyone,

      Not sure if it possible, but I have a few cases of community members accidentally marking assumed answered on discussions they have started.

      Can this be reversed?  Is there a work around?

          Hi Toby,


          Thanks for posing this question for how to unmark a question as assumed answer. Based on previous discussions with Product Management in the Jive Platform space (since deprecated and replaced with Ideas for Jive), this cannot undone and there are no plans to change this behavior, since this is intended behavior. The question was marked either by the poster of the question or by an admin of the place.


          A workaround has been suggested using the following steps:


          1. Select an existing answer as "Correct".
            1. If no answers exist, post a comment and mark this as "Correct".
          2. Immediately select "Unmark as Correct".


          If this works, this should reset the assumed answer status.  Feel free to test this out and let me know if you had any other questions.
