To be more specific, I'm using the "Advanced" header configuration, using HTML and CSS to place a logo in the header above the navbar. This, of course, makes having another logo in the navbar (left of "Home") unnecessary, so Home > Branding Header and Navigation > Branding header > Logo or text is set to None. I know if I put a logo there, it will show up in the mobile layout, but I don't want that logo there for the desktop layout. As it is, Jive hides the Advanced header in mobile, so there's currently no logo at all in responsive.
Anyone have a solution for this?
Adding some fuel to this fire, if my brand team notices this, I will have a serious problem. Luckily, only my test team has noticed so far.
Jive's decision to completely disable custom header for responsive makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to have a good, consistent header user experience across mobile and desktop. There are LOTs of solutions, but the status quo is not helpful.
