    Merging Multiple Threads

Is it possible in Jive to merge multiple threads into one thread? For example, you have 5 threads on one topic, it it possible to combine them all into one thread? In Addition to that, would it be possible to create a 6th thread as a moderator, and combine those 5 other threads into your newly created 6th thread?

After some research and looking through the Jive help documentation i was abe to determine that the closet feature we have available to us is to Branch out a thread into another thread. However this not meet our requirement.

          Hi Matt,

Reviewing through your inquiry, this is not currently a feature in the Jive platform, however, if you are interested in this type of functionality there are a couple of options available.

          1. If you would like to see this in a future release I would recommend submitting an idea to the Ideas for Jive space, where our Product Management team reviews top rated ideas when considering features for future releases.

          2. If you are interested in developing a customization for your instance I would suggest checking out the Jive Developers space, where you can collaborate with other developers on potential customizations.

          3. If you would like assistance developing customizations for your instance, our Professional Service's team can help in determining the scope of the project and work with you to develop a custom solution to meet your needs. If you are interested in this option, please submit a case in your secret customer group here in the Jive Community and the next available support engineer can get an engagement set up for you.
