    Inline Document Preview

We're migrating from a very old version of Jive (not upgrading -- starting fresh -- so this is not an upgrade issue) to the latest Jive-n cloud version so our apologies if this is something that has not been around for a long time.

Word documents (and PDFs) used to preview automatically in-line with the Jive document when added as attachments. This does not seem to be the case anymore. We get a Jive document with an Attachment box and a link that users can click to preview the document in a popover window.

Is this still possible to enable somehow, or will users have to get used to not being able to do this? I've been all over the user portal and no one seems to be even talking about the functionality.

          Hi Jeffery,

Files that you would like to have preview automatically should be uploaded as  a Jive File:

This will allow you to see the preview behavior that you are expecting. Unfortunately, standard Jive Documents require the user to select Preview in order to view thee desired attachment.

          Hope this helps.
