    content in category not appearing as expected


      Hello - I'm tracking a Problem with two reported Incidents since the 2016.2 Maintenance release Change, related to content in categories.


      1. Yesterday, a group owner reported that in her group, a recently created category contained *all* the content of the group, although she had not actually applied the category yet.
        Without understanding the root cause, we deleted the category and re-added it.

      2. Today, a group owner reported that in her group, an existing category which is supposed to have content in it, displays no content.
        Workaround is to view all content and find the desired content by filter-by-text, or to browse for it.

      I have since opened a private support case, and am raising this in Support space as well for visibility.
