These are being sent by Box but are triggered when content is being updated in Jive. We had a similar issue in the past but was fixed by Jive after a patch was applied.
I believe this is something similar. If this is not familiar to you as to how the Box integration works, please inform us of that and we can try and work with Box. Last we spoke with Box they were very positive that this was a Jive setting.
Please look into this.

Unfortunately there is not an out-of-the box setting to disable comments from syncing between Box and Jive. If this is a feature you would like to see in a future release of Jive, you might consider creating a feature request here Ideas for Jive. This would allow others to vote it up and help it gain visibility with our Products team.
