I have run through a quick test using version 53.0.2785.116 of Chrome, however was not seeing the behavior in an out of the box release of Jive 8 or Jive Cloud. As such I would suggest the following as next steps:
1. Access from an incognito mode Chrome browser
2. Clear out your browser's cookies and caches
3. Disable any extensions installed in your Chrome browser
However, if these steps to not resolve the behavior I would recommend submitting a case in your customer group as a next step so that a member of our support team can perform additional investigations into your specific instance.
I did this on an incognito window and it did not work in our production instance, but it did work on our UAT. I will do some more investigation before submitting a ticket.
