A 502 means bad gateway, which can mean that the Jive instance is unable to see that URL. Can you confirm that your URL (https://my.server.com) is visible to the public internet, rather than from your machine which may be accessing it via a proxy or behind a firewall?

https://my.server.com/ is visible to pubic internet.
and my team mate has raised a ticket in jive about this (here Unable to activate the app. Jive is not reaching host ). It looks like some ssl error.
So I am closing this thread here.
