Hi Judi,
We're still on the Jive Advanced Gamification Module (Bunchball), but we may consider moving to Rewards some time next year.

Thank you Jill - have you identified what you need to know to consider moving to JIVE Rewards?

Hi Judi,
A few key areas come to mind that we need to explore:
- Customization - to what degree can we customize quests to align to our current branding on Bunchball?
- Analytics - what kind of reporting will we get from Rewards? I need to be able to easily see who is completing certain quests in a given time frame so that I can identify champions.
- Migration - how do we take all of our existing missions/badges and transition them to Rewards? What level of parity exists between the two solutions?
Thanks,
Jill

Hello Jill,
It looks like you have robust gamification with Bunchball currently - correct? We have really underutilized it, so my biggest concern is migrating the points. For me, getting the reports from Bunchball have been challenging (this is more our issue vs the system).
I love the quests as we have JIVE Rewards on our internal JIVE system - one of my only concerns is that with the migration the points move - but don't show up until the individual member does something in the system.
I would love to catch up with and talk next week if you have a few minutes?
Thank you,
Judi

benfowler Nov 10, 2016 3:18 PM (in response to judicardinal)Hi Judi Cardinal! We just launched Rewards last month. We originally signed up for Advanced gamification, but opted out after seeing how complex it was to set up and manage.

I totally agree - Bunchball is quite a challenge to work with.
Are you happy with JIVE Rewards? Any issues from either your admin side or customer problems?
Thank you,
Judi

benfowler Nov 11, 2016 6:52 AM (in response to judicardinal)No problems other than one of the quests isn't marking one it's tasks as completed even when users complete it. Very minor.
Otherwise, integration into streams and inbox and profile page is really nice. Very easy to administer. Although, I will say it took me about a month to really understand how it's designed. Strategies, missions, events, levels, quests...lots of concepts to soak up.

Thank you Ben - great input. One last question
We have not transitioned to tiles yet so our main spaces are "widget's" & to my knowledge there is no way to promote - this was part of my analysis this past summer.
Have you transitioned totally to tiles? If not - did you find a way to promote a quest in widgets?
Thank you,
Judi

benfowler Nov 11, 2016 7:05 AM (in response to judicardinal)1 person found this helpfulGood question. We are on widgets still (transitioning to tiles this quarter though). Your are correct. The only widget that's tied to Rewards is "top participants" I believe it's called. That is the one trouble we've had. Right now I'm relying on lots of formatted text widgets and blog posts to highlight the rewards program. It's not working well though in terms of getting the word out on the program. If anyone has ideas what we can do until we get to tiles, I'd love to hear them.
