Is the error with the video itself or are users getting messaged about a permission to view the video?
Do you have a screenshot you can share?
Not at all. Is that the protocol? Sometimes I try to post in other areas, to see if other community members can answer before I ping support (as most of us want to happen in our own communities!).
From what I've seen, when the question shifts to a troubleshooting conversation, it typically goes over to Support, which is still an open space that all Jive customers can access.
Hi Kristen Gastaldo,
Reviewing through your customer group I see where you submitted a case and this behavior was linked to CLOUD-2809. Additionally, a workaround was discovered, which is as follows:
1). Navigate to the Blog Post in question
2). Click "Edit"
3). Click the "<>" button
4). Find the HTML related to jive video macro
<p style="color: #6b6b6b; background-color: #ffffff; margin: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: center;"><img class="jive_macro jive_macro_videomacro" jivemacro="videomacro" _videoid="1080" /></p>
<p style="color: #6b6b6b; background-color: #ffffff; margin: 0px 0px 10px;"></p>
5). Replace with:
Note: you will need to change the default_attr = <youtube video id>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 18pt;">
<img class="jive_macro jive_macro_youtube" height="330" width="440" jivemacro="youtube" ___default_attr="zEmoI9WwIXo" />
6). The video should now be viewable by Guest users
