Can banner images in Jive Daily link and display in the mobile app instead of having to link to the mobile website which requires a separate login?

We are using Jive Daily as a primary way to access Jive due to the mobile nature of our workforce. We use images in the top banner on our pages to create a call to action. It may be going to a template to ask a question, seeing a filtered list of content, or reading a featured blog. In Daily, when I click on the image it tries to launch a mobile website which requires a separate log in for our workers. What is the status on Jive Daily and it's ability to pull content and display it within the app?

The entire mechanism Jive Daily uses to follow regular hyperlinks is problematic.  First, it seems like Daily doesn't recognize the links you're describing as being to same-community content.  But even when the content isn't in the community at all, you first need to log in to Jive through the mobile browser experience just to see that content.  This seems to be a poorly-implemented click-tracker.  Rather than letting Daily report through a backchannel that you've opened the link, they send you to a Jive tracker URL in your community (requiring the login) which then forwards you to the intended destination.

Two changes would help with this, in my opinion:

          • Intercept and handle the tracking logic within Daily, so links to external destinations don't require the extra login at all.
          • Allow Daily's integrated web browser to remember your login token between browser sessions, so following a link to same-community content in the integrated browser won't require an additional login, or at least not more than one per several-hour token expiration period.
