I've been asked to develop a simple Jive application, which is now done and working correctly in our cloud instance of Jive. Our content managers have been asking how they can create a "At-Mentionable" link to this app. The app URL follows the pattern "https://ourjivedomainnamedotcom/somejivepath/apps/UUID/canvas". I've considered aliasing the UUID to something prettier (I've seen this done but haven't actually attempted it) if that makes this task easier.
Any suggestions of work-arounds are acceptable, or at least better than the current state.
I don't see this being possible in cloud. I can see something like a ! (bang App) https://community.jivesoftware.com/docs/DOC-114464#jive_content_id_app_Action showing a list of installed Add-ons that are pulled from a DB of registered add-ons and going from there to serve your use-case, but you won't be able to @ mention an App. One App (unless installed in the same package, and thus, sharing a token) doesn't have access to another App. Sorry :/
