I wanted to ensure my understanding in terms of encrypting user data in Jive public cloud servers are correct.
- Jive encrypts user data during transit (Is that mean, Jive encrypts data only when moving to remote storage) to public cloud storage.
- All backed-up data are stored in an encrypted form
Is that mean, any user data will remain in text mode before it back-up?
And during migration to Jive cloud from on premise, do we need to decrypt on premise data before it get encrypted by Jive encryption keys?
And much appreciated if you can share a white paper that explains Jive encryption model.
