      Community support for place managers and champions--

      • How much support should we give place managers? Our community launched in June. Some champions bubbled up as place managers and we are strategizing around how to support them and build a “maintain your own space” culture.  How many targeted tips, resources, newsletters, etc. are useful to them?
      • What are we missing? We set up a Group, a blog, and some tutorials. It would be great to get some feedback on what we are providing and any blind spots we missed. What do your users like?

       

      Anything else you'd like to share with your partner:

      • This is our first true intranet for the entire firm. Our previous iterations focused on our main business line and were heavy on document management.
      • Our team is small so we recruit champions to act as knowledge experts in physical locations or departments that are less likely to ask our IT-based group for help. Our users are spread across 5+ (international) locations, so getting everyone on the same page can be a challenge.
