    Script to copy/rename content from Jive backup

    dbetlow

      Not sure if anyone has done this already, so I figured I'd ask.

      We downloaded a copy of jive database and content.

      Using Postgres,

      SELECT

        jivedocbodyversion.bodyid,jivedocumentbody.filename, reverse(cast(jivedocbodyversion.bodyid as text))||'54'

      FROM

        public.jivedocbodyversion,

        public.jivedocumentbody,

        public.jivedocument

      WHERE

        jivedocbodyversion.bodyid = jivedocumentbody.bodyid AND

        jivedocument.internaldocid = jivedocbodyversion.internaldocid and jivedocument.containerid = 2037;

      2806;"Acct-Director.pdf";"608254"

      2807;"CustomerImplementationManager.pdf";"708254"

      I can then navigate to the \6\0\8\ folder and rename 608254ydoByranib.bin to be Acct-Director.pdf and bingo I can open the file.  I'd like to be able to move all of the content to a more structured folder path, so I can then just give permissions to the owners of those folders.

      Any ideas on how to do this?  Perhaps with Powershell...
