Whenever the new task gets assigned to the user the email notification is being sent to the assigned user . I tried changing the Task Activity Notification under Admin console settings->Message templates but I dont see the changes being reflected for particular community/group it stays generic . Can anyone please let me know if there is any other way to change the email notifications template for particular community/group ?
Unfortunately, this is not a feature of the product...and the platform doesn't let you further specify. I haven't looked at the context variables provided to the runtime during that email send ... but you are most likely limited to the single template version for this notification. =\
