    Is there any way to tell which sites use tiles vs widgets?

      We are working on mobile readiness and we know that there are some (very few) sites that use widgets (they needed some features that didn't exist in tiles yet). I'd love to be able to figure out which sites use widgets so I can target them for change management.

          Hey Kirsten,

          If by sites, you mean Spaces or Groups...your fastest bet would be to query the DB (either directly, or via Support Ticket).

          Spaces

          SELECT w.classname, c.name, c.displayname

          FROM jiveWidgetFrame wf, jiveWidget w, jiveCommunity c

          WHERE wf.widgetid=w.widgetid

          AND wf.parentobjectid=c.communityid

          AND wf.parentobjecttype=14

          --AND w.classname LIKE '%Html%'

          AND wf.published=1;

          Groups

          SELECT w.classname, c.name, c.displayname

          FROM jiveWidgetFrame wf, jiveWidget w, jiveSGroup c

          WHERE wf.widgetid=w.widgetid

          AND wf.parentobjectid=c.groupid

          AND wf.parentobjecttype=700

          --AND w.classname LIKE '%Html%'

          AND wf.published=1;

          Projects

          SELECT w.classname, c.name, c.displayname

          FROM jiveWidgetFrame wf, jiveWidget w, jiveProject c

          WHERE wf.widgetid=w.widgetid

          AND wf.parentobjectid=c.projectid

          AND wf.parentobjecttype=600

          --AND w.classname LIKE '%Html%'

          AND wf.published=1;

          You can use the w.ClassName to infer the type of Widget.  Note the filter that will trap only HTML Widgets (currently commented out in the above query).

          Hope that helps.
