Clarification for Users of MSSQL Databases

I can download the jtds-1.3.1.jar easily.

The documentation/best practices do not say where to put the file.

      Here's a copy/paste from the docs:

If you are using a non-PostgreSQL database for the Activity Engine, you will need to install the driver as described above, and also add the driver to the classpath in the /usr/local/jive/services/eae-service/bin/instance file. You need to add this only to the Activity Engine service node. Here is an example:

      export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/database_vendor/version/client#/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
      export CLASSPATH=/usr/lib/database_vendor/version/client#/lib/thejarfile.jar:$CLASSPATH

      1. The file instance does not exist. Is it supposed to exist, or am I supposed to create it with those two lines?
      2. Is it considered a best practice to create /usr/lib/jtds and put the jar in there?
