I can download the jtds-1.3.1.jar easily.
The documentation/best practices do not say where to put the file.
Here's a copy/paste from the docs:
If you are using a non-PostgreSQL database for the Activity Engine, you will need to install the driver as described above, and also add the driver to the classpath in the
/usr/local/jive/services/eae-service/bin/instance file. You need to add this only to the Activity Engine service node. Here is an example:
1. The file instance does not exist. Is it supposed to exist, or am I supposed to create it with those two lines?
2. Is it considered a best practice to create /usr/lib/jtds and put the jar in there?
you can keep this file anywhere on the server inside 'jive' folder, just have 'jive' as owner for this file and next you have to set the webapp.custom_classpath_additions property.
