We are trying to get the Jive login to last as long as possible.
We’re building a mobile app that simply wraps the Jive mobile web interface, and we’ve been asked to make the user’s login session last as long as possible - to avoid them having to login repeatedly in the mobile app.
After some initial investigation we’ve identified that there are some session cookies issued by Jive that are responsible for the login state. If these various session cookies are retained, for how long will the user's login be valid? Note that the user may be inactive for a potentially long period of time.
Our Jive instance is using SAML authentication, with an Okta instance that’s maintained by the client.
