    Does anonymizing @mention references go far enough?

      I'm not 100% sure how it works, but assuming my colleague's name Mike O was anonymized to be something sort of cryptic like 1E262IyRpmw5i6lF, and then a sort of find-replace process for all the times he is "@"mentioned with the same name: 1E262IyRpmw5i6lF

       

      Wouldn't the existence of that anonymized-name in a collection of documents known to be of interest to a particular individual be "used to create profiles of the natural persons and identify them" per Recital 30 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?
