I think the cleverest that we were able to get in terms of automation was to email in a PDF attachment. Which was not very clever, and not a great user experience.
I sure hope someone replies with some killer way to do this!
We also tried to get the formatting to work to no avail. I too would love a clever solution!

Because of the difficulty in getting messages out via Jive, we are still reliant on internal emails, but like to record them in our community so people can reference them at a later date.
We've tried Blog post - looks rubbish, we've tried create from email - rubbish, and we've also tried Jive Doc - and again, rubbish!
Most of the time, we copy and paste the content into notepad to clean it, then add it to a blog post inserting any images and links.
This doesn't really resolve your issue of copying the content over to Jive but we promote creating our newsletters in Jive and then sending brief email linking to the content . . . if emailing is necessary. Always trying to promote tgoing to our intranet first for all their informational needs. :-)

We had thought that the app would decrease the need for email, but people still want a 'round up' sent a specific time, rather than news 'as it happens' -
But, like the idea of posting a 'Weekly Round Up' with simple links, in each of our Country News streams as a work around....
