This is done with the "Update Report" endpoint of the /people service
Create a manager-report relationship between the specified user and the specified report user.
personID String true ID of the user which will be the manager in the new relationship reportPersonID String true ID of the user which will be the direct report in the new relationship
HTTP Status Code
204 (No Content) Request was successful 403 (Forbidden) Requesting user is not allowed to create this relationship 410 (Gone) Organization Chart relationships are not supported by this Jive instance 404 (Not Found) One or both of the specified users cannot be found

There is an a GET command for a manager so I was looking for POST associated with Manager.
That's what I always do!
The key is that "Manager" is not just a field, but a 1:1 "relationship" with another user. Jive maintains two types of relationships:
- "reports to", e.g. User A reports to User B
- "follows", e.g. User A followed User B
As such, Follows has a similar approach
