I understand you want to have your moderation date be written to the publish date for content you moderate.
While Jive doesn't support that out of the box, I found a plausible workaround:
- In Moderation queue, click the title of the blog post
- Click "Edit in Context"
- (you may hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard as you click a link on most web browsers to open in a new tab)
- Scroll to the bottom and Click "Update"
- Go back to Moderation queue and Approve
It's not what I would call an ideal workaround, but I hope it helps.

We were advised by Becky Dozier that this workaround method will still keep the original date the content was created, therefore it may disappear from news feeds earlier than expected (if that's what you're using the moderation tool for).
We use moderation for our news blog posts and we used to use that workaround method, however it was affecting how long items stayed on our newsfeed for so we now put content in moderation the day we want it to go live.
Hope this helps
