We were able to get inline anchors to work in an unexpected way. Rather using the familiar name attribute we actually rely on id.
For example, you switch to the HTML view in the editor...
<p id="jump_here">Jump Here</p>
And your link to the anchor still looks the same...
<a href="somple.html#jump_here">Jump There</a>
This is using Clearspace 2.5.7 and Firefox (not tried with IE yet).
Technically could be considered unsupported but I believe Jive is planning on adding anchors to the editor to avoid this coding approach.

I've tried the above solution out but it doesn't seem to recognise the coding in HTML view.
Every time I save the document once I've added the id="jump_here" attribute, if I go back into edit mode the attribute has disappeared.
I'd appreciate if you could advise what Jive's current stance is on jump to anchors.
Many thanks, : )
Thanks John, I'll try your method out : )
Thanks for this, John! I reproduced, and then wrote up simple instructions for the more savvy users in our community. I know this is going to be a big help for some! Though I know how to code HTML, I honestly never really thought about this before. Appreciate the tip!
