Yes, I think that would be a good inclusion. We built it in as part of our SSO integration along with bad/other word filters.
Are there any easy changes to prevent usernames that appear to be email addresses? For example excluding @ .com, .net, yahoo, gmail hotmail etc?
We're updating to 4.0.6. Since this version still doesn't prevent it, it would be good to have text to the right instructing them not to use their email address as their username. I see you can do this for custom fields you add but not for the stock fields. Password field has a strength detector. Want to put it right above that.
Now that I look at it there isn't enough room. Perhaps we'd have to add it under the username field. If that's even possible.....
