How do you handle disbling users when they leave your company?

We use our Jive instance as our only intranet at our company and recently launched to all employees.  Before the amount of users grows out of control, I need to figure out how to disable users who were terminated in an efficient way...we have a fairly high turnover rate due to the nature of our business.  Employee names are pulled from LDAP/internal systems, but as far as I know there is no easy way to automatically disable accounts unless you know the specific people who leave.  How do other companies handle this?

I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate a list from HR and combine with the list of users on our intranet and cross-reference on a regular basis, but it would be awesome if there was some sort of automatic process.  I'd love any ideas or suggestions you can provide!
